|
Back To Tech Support |
| The following files can be downloaded to explain how to configure the modems and the batch files to configure them. These files will allow the modem to connect from a host personal computer to a remote Idec PLC at 9600 baud. It is important to remember to configure your WINDLDR communication settings to match the modem settings at 9600 baud, 8 Data Bits, 1 Stop Bit and No Parity. It is highly recommended to use the host external modem and not the one provided with your computer since the modem requires a special configuration and your computer's modem may not be easily returned to it's original condition after configuring it to communicate with the PLCs. |
